There are four different virtual phone number choices:

  1. Local phone numbers ‐ A number that is tied to a location through the area code of your choice.
  2. Toll-free number ‐ An 800 Number that has no specific location associated with it.
  3. Vanity phone numbers ‐ Phone numbers where the digits spell out a specific word or phrase.
  4. Call forwarding or voicemail service ‐ You can have calls forwarded but can’t make calls from the number.

Yes, you can use any phone number with Nextiva’s internet phone service. The process of transferring phone numbers is known as porting. You can port landline, toll-free, cell phone, virtual, and VoIP numbers.
