Skills-based routing and IVR
A basic interactive voice response (IVR) system can ask callers what they need and send them to the appropriate team. You might even configure it to auto-route based on the caller ID being recognized as a high-priority customer.

Don’t size the connection based on the number of employees. Size it around the number of simultaneous calls you expect at peak.

Test your new phone system with real traffic
