Weighted call distribution is a process where agents receive a specific percentage of incoming calls from a source. Percentages of delivery tend to match up over time. This is useful for low-volume, low-frequency call distribution strategies.
It is also useful when distributing calls to agents with different skill sets. In this way it can be similar to skills based routing.
