Enfant Soleil’s annual telethon raised over $25 million CAD (approximately $18.2 million USD) for children’s hospitals across Quebec. Behind every ringing phone, a story of hope unfolded — and every connection proved that technology is at its best when it empowers people.

For the fifth year in a row, Enfant Soleil (ES) partnered with Nextiva to power their telethon.
For over 30 years, ES has provided critical funding to pediatric centers. Each spring, the live telethon turns generosity into action. Viewers meet courageous young patients, then dial in to make a donation. The event blends heartfelt storytelling with real-time community support.

How the Telethon Touches Lives
The telethon raised more than $25 million CAD to support children and families. Behind the scenes, our inbound call center software quietly kept everything running. But the outsized impact came from the people.
More than 400 volunteers answered over 21,000 calls in a day. Behind every call was a donor who wanted to help, to comfort, and to offer hope to a child they might never meet. And even though the world had become more digital, thousands still chose to pick up the phone and connect with a real person. That choice said everything.
Since Nextiva runs entirely in the cloud, volunteers can answer from any location without missing a beat, allowing them to tend to the rising call volume of eager donors. Its enterprise-grade reliability enables the nonprofit to stay focused on its mission rather than worrying about technical glitches.
Enfant Soleil has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Every year I watch the telethon and feel so deeply moved by the strength of these kids and their families. Being able to support this cause through my work? It means everything.
