Q: What is BLF?

BLF stands for Busy Lamp Field . BLF is a feature in which unused line keys on your desk phone monitor the status of other phones on your account. This feature is useful for the receptionist of a 10 person company who sees everyone's status, or it could be a personal assistant who monitors their boss' line. The monitoring line blinks green if the target is receiving a call and goes solid red if they are currently talking on the phone.
