A registration is a connection between a device and a service provider's network. It means that the phone proved that it is supposed to be able to place and receive calls.
Registrations renew periodically throughout the day to prevent fraudulent calls. More than one copy of the same registration causes errors in placing or receiving calls. This can sometimes occur with third-party softphone applications.
If you have a backup phone app, it should have unique details.
