What is DECT?

DECT stands for Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications. It is a standard for wireless communications. A base station connects to a service provider. That base station then sends signals to a cordless handset or handsets.

There are DECT phones available for both landline and VoIP service providers. The manufacturers may differ in range, calls handled, and handsets supported.
