What is Cloud PBX?

A cloud PBX is a service that provides all the features of a PBX through the internet. This decentralizes the features and provides them from one or more hardware sets.

This differs from a hosted PBX because the information isn’t tied to one piece of hardware that may fail. It is instead distributed and redundant through multiple servers tied to the cloud.
