What is Call Forwarding?

Call Forwarding is a feature in which a phone, or phone number, redirects incoming calls. A new phone number then answers and handles the calls.

The provider does not involve any systems beyond the act of redirecting the call.

Some landline phones cannot forward more than one call at a time. In this case, calls to that phone number will receive a busy signal instead.
