CSR stands for customer service record. A CSR is a document detailing all the legal ownership attributes of a phone number.

It includes items such as authorized signer and service address.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) protects the rights of phone customers. Your provider cannot deny you a CSR, nor can they block the port of your number.
