What is a Call Group in VoIP?

CG stands for call group. A Call Group is a collection of phones that receive calls directed to a single phone number or extension.

Call Groups employ a variety of Call Distribution methods and can send the call to all the users simultaneously, or one at a time in a specified order. Other names for a call group are Ring Group or Hunt Group.
