Nextiva Receives Three Small Business Influencer Awards
Scottsdale, Arizona - September 22, 2014
Nextiva, an industry leading provider of cloud-based business phone services, announced today that it is the recipient of three 2014 Small Business Influencer Awards. This is the second consecutive year that Nextiva has been recognized by Small Business Trends, an award-winning online publication for small business owners and entrepreneurs.
The Small Business Influencer Awards honor companies, journalists, and leaders who are influential to small businesses in North America, through the products, services, knowledge, information or support they provide to the small business market. The Awards are designed to recognize the unsung heroes of small businesses – those who support and encourage entrepreneurs and small business owners, and help them achieve success and stay successful.
Nextiva is the recipient of the 2014 Small Business Influencer Awards in the category of Corporations. This is the second year in a row that Nextiva has received this honor.
Nextiva CEO Tomas Gorny has been chosen as a Community Choice honoree in the 2014 Small Business Influencer Awards. Gorny achieved the designation as the result of receiving top votes in the popular voting segment of the Awards, from the small business community. Gorny was one of the top five most popular votes in the category of Leaders.
Additionally, the Nextiva App has been voted a Community Choice honoree in the 2014 Small Business Influencer Awards. The Nextiva App takes business mobility to the next level by serving as a hub for unified communications needs. The mobile application received top votes from the small business community. The Nextiva App was in the top five winners in the category of Apps.
Says Anita Campbell, CEO of Small Business Trends, ”Influencers are those who play crucial roles in the small business ecosystem, but who often are in the background. Many of the nominees are themselves small business owners, entrepreneurs or small businesses. The impact of the Awards goes well beyond nominees, however – the awards also encourage and excite the nominees’ employees. The Awards are intended to provide that added little boost in motivation and morale that can make a big difference in results. Being nominated also distinguishes the nominee from competitors, and in that sense can lead to competitive advantage."
“We’re so thankful to have our products, leadership, and organization recognized by so many voters,” says Nextiva CEO, Tomas Gorny. “I’m thrilled that our commitment to revolutionizing the way small businesses communicate has made an impact.”
