Assigning an Announcement to an Auto Attendant

After creating the Auto Attendant and recording the announcement, Administrators can assign the announcement to the Business Hours and After Hours menus of the Auto Attendant. These announcements greet callers and provide them with a menu of options.

 

Assigning an Announcement to an Auto Attendant

 

  1. Visit www.nextiva.com, and click Client Login to log in to NextOS.
  2. From the NextOS Home Page, select Voice.
  3. From the Nextiva Voice Admin Dashboard, hover over Advanced Routing and select Auto Attendants.
  4. On the Manage Auto Attendants page, select the desired location from the drop-down menu.
  5. Click the Pencil icon corresponding to the desired Auto Attendant.
  6. Click to expand Business Hours Menu or After Hours Menu.
  7. From the Greeting menu, select the desired announcement.
  8. Click Save.
