Making International Phone Calls

Administrators can fully manage and control who can make International calls on an account.  This feature can be activated with just a few clicks in NextOSl.  

When making an international call, first dial 011 followed by the phone number.  For a full list of international calling rates, click HERE.


  1. As an Administrator, you can access NextOS by going to www.nextiva.com and selecting Login at the top of the screen.  Alternatively, click HERE.
  2. Log in to NextOS with your admin credentials.
  3. From the main dashboard, hover over Advanced Routing at the top of the screen and select Call Center Locations (Figure 1-1).

  1. Select the Log In button to the right of the call center you wish to enable International calling for (Figure 1-2).

  1. The Configuration Portal will open in a new tab or window. On the left-hand menu, select Calling Plan, then select Outgoing Calling Plan under Management.
  2. Under the Originating tab, select the check box under International (Figure 1-3).

  1. Select OK or Apply to save changes. This will enable international calling for the entire group, you can also define which users are restricted from making international calls (see below).  

Turning on/off international calling for a specific user:

  1. As an Administrator, you can access NextOS by going to www.nextiva.com and selecting Login at the top of the screen. Alternatively, click HERE.
  2. Log in to NextOS with your admin credentials.
  3. From the main dashboard, hover over Advanced Routing at the top of the screen and select Call Center Locations (Figure 2-1).

  1. Select the Log In button to the right of the call center you wish to enable International Calling on (Figure 2-2).

  1. Select Users and search for the User you wish to edit.
  2. Select Edit to the right of the User.
  3. On the left-hand menu, select Calling Plan, then select Outgoing Calling Plan under Outgoing Plan.
  4. Select the Custom Settings checkbox at the top.
  5. Select the International check box to enable international calling for this user (Figure 2-3).

  1. Select OK or Apply to save changes.
