Accessing call group voicemail

When no one in the Call Group is available, Nextiva Voice can route calls to the call group’s voice mailbox. Access call group voicemail from either a Nextiva phone or a non-Nextiva phone. 

To access call group voicemail from a Nextiva phone:

  1. From any Nextiva phone, dial 9999 or *86.
  2. At the greeting, press the star (*) key.
  3. At the prompt to enter the Mailbox ID, enter the Call group extension number, followed by the # key.
  4. Enter the voicemail PIN. If checking voicemail for the first time, enter the default PIN: 0000, followed by the # key. Change the PIN to a personalized 4-digit number.

     

To access call group voicemail from a non-Nextiva phone:

  1. From a non-Nextiva phone, dial the business phone number.
  2. At the greeting, press the star (*) key.
  3. At the prompt to enter the PIN, press the star (*) key.
  4. When prompted to enter the Mailbox ID, enter the Call group extension number, followed by the # key.
  5. Enter the voicemail PIN. If checking voicemail for the first time, enter the default PIN: 0000, followed by the # key. Change the PIN to a personalized 4-digit number.
