How to Navigate the Call Group Voicemail Box

Call Groups (also referred to as Hunt Groups) allow incoming calls to ring multiple employees on an account. The feature attempts to “hunt” for an available employee. It can be set up to ring all phones at the same time or in a specific order. If no one is available to take the call, it can be routed to a specific voicemail box just for this Call Group. 

To Access Call Group Voicemail from Your Nextiva Phone:

  1. From any Nextiva phone, dial *86 OR 9999#. From an external phone, dial the office phone number.
  2. During the greeting, press the star (*) key.
  3. Instead of entering the PIN, immediately press the star (*) key.
  4. For the Mailbox ID, enter the Call Group extension number followed by the # key.
  5. Enter the voicemail PIN.

NOTE: For initial setup, enter the default PIN 0000 followed by the # key, then follow the prompts to change the PIN to a personalized 4-digit number and record a name.

1 – Hear new messages

2 – Hear saved messages

3 – Change personal options

1 – Repeat

2 – Save

3 – Delete

4 – More options

5 – Hear previous message

6 – Hear next message

7 – Rewind 5 seconds

8 – End Call

9 – Fast forward 5 seconds

* – Return to the main menu
