Virtual On-Net Extensions are used for employees who do not have VoIP phones on your account but who you would like to have extensions within your phone system. Calls can be placed or transferred to a Virtual On-Net Extension, and that caller will be routed to the external phone number assigned to the On-Net Extension. These are extensions only, and have no voicemail, outbound calling or advanced call routing capabilities.
