Transferring a Call on the Nextiva App for iPhone and Android

The Nextiva App supports transferring calls, just like your physical phone. There are two types of transfers commonly used. A personal transfer involves speaking with the person you’re transferring the call to before handing off the call. A direct transfer involves transferring the call to any number or extension without needing to speak with them first.

Personal Transfer:

  1. In the bottom right corner choose Ellipsis (…) > Transfer.
  2. Search and select a Contact, choose Voice Call or Video Call.
  3. Select the Call First option. Complete transfer when ready. 

Direct Transfer:

  1. In the bottom right corner choose Ellipsis (…) > Transfer.
  2. Search and select a Contact, then choose Voice Call or Video Call.
  3. Select the Transfer to Contact’s name.
