Transferring a Call on the Nextiva App for iPhone and Android

The Nextiva App supports transferring calls to another party. There are two types of transfers commonly used. A warm transfer involves speaking to the receiving party of the transfer to provide caller details and any additional information needed before the transfer is completed. A blind transfer involves transferring the call to the receiving party, regardless if the party answers or not.

 

Warm Transfer:

  1. While on an active call, tap the ellipses on the bottom-right corner and select Transfer.
  2. Search and select a Contact, choose Voice Call or Video Call.
  3. Select the Call First option. Once the call is successfully established, complete the transfer by tapping the Complete button.

 

Blind Transfer:

  1. While on an active call, tap the ellipses on the bottom right corner and select Transfer.
  2. Search and select a Contact, then choose Voice Call or Video Call.
  3. Select the Transfer to Contact’s name.
