NextOS 3.0: How to manage devices

Nextiva phones do not require a direct dial phone number, but instead, you’ll need to provide each user with an extension number. Depending on the organization of your account, it may be necessary to change the extensions of one or more users. Follow the steps below to accomplish this.

  1. For Administrators, log in to the Nextiva Voice Portal by visiting and clicking on the customer Login found at the top right.
  2. Log in to the Nextiva Voice Portal with your login credentials.
  3. From the main dashboard, click the Manage link in the Devices tile (Figure 1-1).

  4. By default, the page will show you the first 10 devices on the account sorted by MAC address. It also shows the user the specific MAC address is assigned to, as well as the direct dial phone number if the user has one. If there is more than one user assigned on a specific device, the name is also a drop-down list.
