How to Check for Incoming Faxes

Nextiva offers virtual fax service at an affordable price. Now you can send and receive all of your faxes via the vFAX Portal, an email address of your choosing, or even via a traditional fax machine with the purchase of the Nextiva Fax Bridge device. Here are instructions for checking for new incoming faxes.

How to check for new faxes via email:

Log in to the email account you set as the primary email address for your vFAX account. Only one email address is setup as the primary email for each vFAX line. If you’re not sure which email to use, feel free to log in at and click Settings at the top of the page.

The primary email address you setup with us will automatically receive a PDF file for each fax sent to your number. The faxes will be delivered to your email client Inbox, just like any other emails you receive.

How to check for new faxes via the vFAX Portal:

Log in to the vFAX Portal by going to and entering your login credentials. Answer the Security Math Question, and click Submit.

From your Dashboard you will see your most recent inbound and outbound faxes.

Or, if you click Search you will see even more of your vFAX history.
