The Cisco SPA502G provides a dependable, affordable and feature rich experience ideal for home-based or small business use. As a full featured, single line business-class IP phone the 502G supports Power over Ethernet and features a monochromatic backlit display that is not only esthetically pleasing but also provides a user friendly platform for many on-screen applications.

The phone effortlessly connects directly to a VoIP service provider or to an IP private branch exchange while providing dual switched Ethernet ports for enhanced connectivity. Wideband audio enables unsurpassed call clarity and enhanced speaker quality.

Not only does the SPA502G support up to two SPA 500 series expansion modules, adding up to 64 additional buttons, but it also supports both SIP and Smart Phone Control Protocols with the Cisco Unified Communications 500 series for Small Business.

As a small business IP phone, the SPA502G features hundreds of configurable service parameters and also supports productivity-enhancing features such as VoiceView Express and Cisco XML applications.
The phone uses the standard encryption protocols to perform highly secure remote provisioning and heighted security upgrades.
