Uploading your own voicemail recording

If you have your own recording and you would like to upload it to your voicemail, please follow these instructions:

Office manager users:

1.) Log into your Office Manager.

2.) From the menu on the left hand side, click “Employees”

3.) Click “Login” next to the employee or extension in question.

Follow the rest of the instructions below

Employee/inTalk users:

1.) Once you are logged into your Employee/inTalk account click “Voicemail” from the menu on the left

2.) Click the large text on the page that comes up that says “Change Settings”

3.) Towards the bottom of the page, there is an upload area where you can click “Browse” to navigate where the file is stored on your computer to upload. There are three areas to choose from that have different effects. If you are not sure which one to use, upload through the one that says “Personal greeting recorded by you”

Note: You may use a .WAV file as an automated attendant, music on hold, and voicemail greetings. The .WAV file must be in Mono, 8 or 16 bit.

With Nextiva Office phone service you can make recording “on the fly” via your VoIP phones.

If you have an existing audio file which is not being accepted, we will gladly convert it for you. If you would like to have us convert a file, please send an email to support@nextiva.com with the subject of ‘Convert Audio’.
